Speaker: Leslie Pierce, MD

Leslie Pierce, MD joined Envision Physician Services Dec 1, 2020 as a Neonatologist at Saint Francis Medical Center Colorado Springs. She was born and raised in Texas where she completed medical school at the University of Texas Houston Health Sciences Center and then joined her husband in New York City to complete her Pediatric residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center and her Neonatology fellowship at New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. She then moved back to Dallas, TX and joined a group of Neonatologist at Baylor University Medical Center where she practiced until life brought her to Colorado Springs. Dr. Pierce is board certified in Pediatric and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. She and her family are enjoying all that Colorado has to offer and loves to travel, cook, and spend time with her husband and 3 daughters.

  • Define criteria for therapeutic hypothermia
  • Describe therapeutic hypothermia
